| International Focus
As a leader of public health education in Australia, and being
positioned in a unique geographical location in the Australia/South-East
Asia Region, we are able to attract some of the best minds, both
nationally and internationally, to our School.
More than 200 students from 30 different countries are presently
part of the teaching and research programs of the School of Public
Health. In addition, our staff is drawn from all continents and
is able to bring significant international perspective to the programs
and research in the School of Public Health.
This diversity of international enthusiasm, experience and academic
excellence is incorporated into the teaching we do and is an important
component of the learning our students experience. We strive to
bring an international perspective to many of the courses that we
offer. And we value the experiences our international students bring
to the classroom setting.
